Fighting out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, Joe Pyfer is a well-rounded fighter. The 27-year-old mixed martial artist competes in the middleweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Before signing up for the promotion, Pyfer was a former Ring of Combat and Art of War Cage Fighting middleweight champion.

Like most UFC fighters, Pyfer earned his UFC contract by winning Dana White’s Contender Serier (DWCS). However, he could not get the job done for the first time, as he got TKO’d by his opponent Dustin Stoltzfus in the first round. Pyfer tried his shot at Dana White’s Contender Series 47 two years later in 2022. He faced Osman Diaz and secured a second-round TKO against Diaz within 1 minute and 39 seconds into the second round, earning himself a UFC contract.

For his promotional debut, Pyfer faced the Macedonian fighter, Alen Amedovski, on September 17, 2022, in Las Vegas, United States. The fight was featured in the main card of UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs. Song. Pyfer stopped Amedovski in 3 minutes and 55 seconds into the first round via TKO (punches). He also won a ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus for his performance.
