Michael Morales is a 25-year-old Ecuadorian mixed martial artist who is currently signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). With an impressive finish rate of over 80%, Morales has secured most of his victories through knockouts and submissions. He last squared off with Max Griffin on July 2, 2023, at UFC Fight Night: Magomed vs. Strickland and won the fight via unanimous decision.

Michael Morales made his professional debut in mixed martial arts on August 19, 2017, against Alvaro Andres Vacacela Guerrero in the main event of OFC 4. His professional career took off with an impressive win by dispatching Guerrero in the very first round via TKO. Guerrero again fought Morales on March 24, 2018, at OFC 5, but the result remained the same as their first fight as Morales defeated him by first-round TKO. He compiled a professional record of 12 consecutive victories before competing in Dana White’s Contender Series: Season 5, Week 4, where he locked horns with Nikolay Veretinnikov. Morales won the fight via a unanimous decision. He made his promotional debut for the promotion on January 23, 2022, against Trevin Giles at UFC 270. Morales made quick work of Giles by beating him via KO/TKO in the first round to start things in the UFC on a high.
