Rodrigo Nascimento, nicknamed “Ze Colmeia”, is one of the rising heavyweight division MMA fighters in Ultimate Championship Wrestling (UFC). Having a background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he is the #15 fighter in the heavyweight division for the promotion as of May 2024. Rodrigo Nascimento started his early MMA career in Brazil and has competed for promotions like Full House, BH Fight and Juiz de Fora Fight.

He also competed in Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3 in 2019, where he defeated Michal Martinek. He officially made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs Harris on May 16, 2020 and defeated Don’Tale Mayes via submission in the second round. Since then, he has largely kept up his winning ways in the promotion, with the exception of one loss and one no-contest. He has also earned the Performance of the Night bonus once in the promotion.

Rodrigo “Ze Colmeia” Nascimento has achieved a record of 11-1-0 (1 NC) in his MMA career. Out of his 11 wins, he won two by KO/TKO, six by submission and three by decision. He received his solo loss by KO/TKO, while another of his fights ended in a no-contest. Rodrigo Nascimento received support and encouragement from the Muslim community worldwide for his decision. He has also managed to keep up his winning ways inside the Octagon since then, with three straight wins as of May 2024.
