Rose Namajunas is a 31-year-old American professional mixed martial arts fighter who competed in the strawweight division of the UFC. She is currently unranked in the UFC women’s strawweight rankings and is ranked eighth in the women’s pound-for-pound rankings. She started training for Taekwondo at the young age of 5, and by turning 9, she earned her poom belt, following which she practiced both Karate and BJJ. In her high school, Namajunas started training in kickboxing and martial arts with Duke Roufus at Roufusport. She was also a senior year wrestler at her school, Milwaukee School of the Arts.


Namajunas made her UFC debut in 2014 against Carla Esparza; she has 13 wins and 6 losses so far in her career. She has been a part of fifteen fights in the promotion since her debut.
