Mario Bautista was born in Winnemucca, Nevada, and is an American mixed martial artist currently competing in the bantamweight division of the UFC at 135 lbs. Standing 5'9" tall and having a reach of 72", his fighting style is freestyle. Training out of The MMA Lab, he made his professional MMA debut in the year 2017 and went on to join the UFC in 2019.

Bautista made his UFC debut against Cory Sandhagen on January 19, 2019, in a submission loss. Since then, Bautista has gotten back splendidly on track, compiling a 14-2 record as of October 1, 2024.
