Jack “El Gato” Catterall is no stranger to the boxing ring. As one of the best boxers in the United Kingdom, he is notable for his wrestling and judo background. Catterall gained his first professional victory as a boxer on September 22, 2012, when he beat Carl Allen via PTS. A native of Chorley, Lancashire, England, Catterall has also been a multiple championship belt holder throughout his boxing career so far. These include various titles like Central Area Super Light title, WBO European Super Light title, WBO Inter-Continental Super Light title, British Super Light title, and WBA Inter-Continental Super Light titles.

He has also managed to be successful inside the ring with 29 victories in his career except for his one controversial loss to Josh Taylor in 2022. El Gato had the opportunity to avenge his only loss in his last fight against Taylor in May 2024.

Jamie Moore is one of the trainers of Jack Catterall. He is a former boxer from Salford, Lancashire, United Kingdom. Throughout Moore’s boxing career from 1999-2010, he has been the Commonwealth Boxing Council Super Welter, British Super Welter, and EBU European Super Welter Champion. He also holds a boxing win-loss record of 32-5 in 37 fights. Out of these 32 wins, he 24 bouts by TKO and 8 bouts by decision. Similarly, he lost 4 bouts by knockout and 1 bout by decision. He became a boxing trainer after retiring from his career as a boxer. He was declared the trainer of the year in 2018. Besides Jack Catterall, Jamie Moore has also trained Chantelle Cameron, Tyson Fury, Carl Frampton, and Tommy Coyle among others.

Nigel Travis, known by his nickname “Captain Chaos”, is the second boxing coach of Jack Catterall. He is known for his boxing training alongside Jamie Moore. Travis is also a firefighter for more than 20 years. He also runs the Moss Side Fire Station Boxing Club, where he trains and helps disadvantaged and isolated children. He aims to protect these children by creating a positive life for them away from gang activities in the areas where belong. Nigel Travis himself also has been a professional boxer for a short time. He has also acted in the TV series Peaky Blinders as Erasmus Lee, one of the members of the Lee Family.
