The Arlington Renegades have a 2-2 record in the 2023 XFL season, which places them second in the South Division. So yes, they have so far done justice to their talents. They have won against the Vegas Vipers and Orlando Guardians and lost against the Houston Roughnecks and St. Louis BattleHawks.

The team is the first pro football franchise to play in the Dallas Metroplex in a league, aside from the NFL's Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Rockets and Fort Worth Braves of the Texas Football League.

They play their home games in the Choctaw Stadium, which has a capacity of 48,114. Furthermore, they're coached by former Oklahoma State University coach Bob Stoops who has been at the team's helm since Feb. 7, 2019.

Who is Arlington Renegades' best player this season?

The Arlington Renegades has had precious few productive players this season, so it's a surprise how the team occupies second place in their division. Their roster includes notable players like Kyle Sloter, Leddie Brown, Rannell Hall, Nate Becker and Willie Beavers. However, they have yet to have the impact Drew Plitt has had this season.

Plitt has started in two XFL games and has impressed. He played against the Houston Roughnecks in week three, putting up a stat line of 120 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception in a week 3 loss.

He put up 172 passing yards and a pick against the St. Louis BattleHawks in a week 4 win. He has put up a stat line of 292 passing yards, two touchdowns and two picks in two XFL games this season. He has performed better than the other QBs on the team's roster, so he could get the chance to start in more games this season.

Drew Plitt is no stranger to playing football under pressure, as he was a tenured QB at Ball State University from 2016 to 2021. He passed for 2,541 yards and 18 TDs and rushed for 131 yards and two in his last season at Ball State. Unfortunately, he needed more to get drafted, as he went unselected in the 2022 NFL draft.

He was later signed as an undrafted free agent on Jul. 27, 2022. He did his best to earn a roster spot with the Bengals but was waived on August 23. Plitt eventually signed up with the Arlington Renegades in September.
