Ivan Dodig is a famous doubles tennis player from Croatia who turned professional in 2004. He is currently ranked No. 2 in doubles by the ATP, which is also his career-high. Dodig was born in Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina, on January 2, 1985. He began playing tennis at the age of eight and would wake up at 6 a.m. to walk three hours to the nearest tennis facility for training in his early years.


Dodig started his professional tennis journey in 2004 but received no support from his country. He needed more funds to travel to tournaments and afford a good training base.
