Santa Claus is a Hardmode Terraria NPC focused on selling Christmas-themed decorations. He will defend himself by throwing bubbles and will die once the Christmas season (December 15 - December 31 or December 1 - January 15) is over.
Santa Claus will spawn once the Frost Legion has been defeated in Hardmode Terraria. As long as the Frost Legion is defeated once in a world, Santa Claus will arrive every time Christmas content is active in that world.
