Shane McMahon is the son of Vince McMahon, the founder of WWE. Alongside his parents and sister Stephanie McMahon, Shane has played a huge role in building the company into a global powerhouse. Notably, he began working with WWE at the age of 15 in its warehouses.

He soon started getting involved in the wrestling business working as an executive, a referee, a producer, an announcer and lastly as a wrestler. Moreover, he is the best wrestler from the McMahon family and some even consider him to be among the most entertaining wrestlers due to his daredevil way of fighting.

Shane McMahon has won 4 and lost 3 in his total 7 matches at WrestleMania. He has defeated X-Pac, Vince McMahon, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn, and The Miz at the event. Moreover, The Undertaker, AJ Styles and Braun Strowman are the only wrestlers who have bested McMahon at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Importantly, McMahon has never headlined the event. There was a notable fifteen year gap between two of his WrestleMania bouts. After returning to WWE in 2016, he went on to compete in five complete matches at the Showcase of Immortals.

Shane McMahon has competed in a total of 7 matches at WrestleMania. Besides these seven matches, he also once fought against The Miz at WrestleMania 39. However, he tore his quad while trying to attack The A-Lister and was pulled off from the match. The event’s host Snoop Dogg replaced McMahon in the match.

Shane McMahon’s first match at the event was against X-Pac where he retained his European Championship. Two years later, he defeated his father in a Street Fight where Mick Foley acted as the guest referee.

Fifteen years later, his father put him in a match against The Undertaker where he took the infamous leap of faith. Over the next few years, he lost to AJ Styles and Braun Strowman while defeating The Miz in singles match. In 2018, he teamed up with Daniel Bryan to defeat Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.

McMahon in every corner (WrestleMania 2000)

In 2000, the four McMahons got into a feud with each other on who the WWE Champion should be. Shane McMahon sided with Big Show, Vince went with The Rock, Stephanie supported her to-be husband Triple H and Linda McMahon wanted Mick Foley to win. The four stars fought at WrestleMania 2000 with respective McMahons in their corners. Eventually, it was Triple H who won the match and earned Stephanie McMahon a victory.

Checks on his Father (WrestleMania XIX)

Vince McMahon wrestled Hulk Hogan in a highly acclaimed Street Fight at WrestleMania 19. However, both the wrestlers were bathing in blood before The Hulkster finally won. After the match, Shane came out to check his father's condition.

Battle of the Billionaires (WrestleMania 23)

At WrestleMania 23, Vince McMahon and Donald Trump got into a Battle of the Billionaires where they placed their bets on Umaga and Bobby Lashley respectively. Notably, Steve Austin was the special referee in the match while Shane McMahon tried to interfere to ensure his father's victory but was stunned by Austin in the process.

Impromptu Match gone wrong (WrestleMania 39)

Shane McMahon made a surprise return to WWE at WrestleMania 39 and challenged The Miz to a match. Just moments after the bell rang, McMahon tore his quad and was forced to be taken out. Snoop Dogg replaced him and went on to defeat The A Lister. If this match was completed, it would have been the second time The Miz and McMahon faced each other at WrestleMania.
