The Royal Rumble match is the cornerstone of Road to WrestleMania, featuring 30 wrestlers in the timed battle royal. Since 2018, every Royal Rumble event has featured two namesake matches, one for the male wrestlers and the other for the female wrestlers. However, until 2018, the women's roster had no dedicated battle royal for themselves. Despite this, a few females entered the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

Chyna, Nia Jax, Kharma, and Beth Phoenix are the four female wrestlers who have entered the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Chyna is the only female to enter the Men’s Royal Rumble twice, while Nia Jax is the only one to enter the match after the establishment of the Women’s Royal Rumble. In all these five appearances, the female wrestler has eliminated one male superstar.

Nia Jax - Royal Rumble 2019

R-Truth was entering the Men’s Royal Rumble match at number 30 in 2019 before he was attacked by Nia Jax, who instead took his spot. With this, WWE subtly confirmed that, despite the names, the Royal Rumble matches are not gender exclusive. Jax caused mayhem in the match, eliminating Mustafa Ali as soon as she got in. Thereafter, she attacked Dolph Ziggler, Rey Mysterio, and even Randy Orton. However, these three superstars joined hands and gave a superkick, a 619, and eventually an RKO to Jax. Mysterio then kicked Jax to eliminate her from the match. Her survival time of three minutes and nine seconds is the longest a female wrestler has spent in the Men’s Royal Rumble.

Kharma - Royal Rumble 2012

At number 21 in the 2012 Royal Rumble, Kharma made her appearance and it was enough for Michael Cole to step aside from the ring. Also known as Awesome Kong, Kharma eliminated Hunico before being eliminated by Dolph Ziggler. She managed to survive in the match for one minute.

Beth Phoenix - Royal Rumble 2010

The Great Khali had just given a devastating blow to CM Punk’s head when #6 was about to make an entrance in Royal Rumble 2010. To everyone’s surprise, Beth Phoenix entered the match, becoming the second female after Chyna to do so. As soon as she was in the ring, Khali asked her politely to leave and then carried her to the turnbuckle. However, Phoenix trapped him with a kiss and threw him out of the ring, scoring one of the most surprising eliminations in Royal Rumble history. However, she was then eliminated by CM Punk after 99 seconds of survival.

Chyna - Royal Rumble 2000

Chyna entered the 2000 Royal Rumble match at number 17 and eliminated Chris Jericho as soon as she entered. However, her time in the ring ended just seconds later, with The Big Boss Man eliminating her. She survived for only 38 seconds in the ring.

Chyna - Royal Rumble 1999

Royal Rumble 1999 was the first time a female wrestler had entered the Royal Rumble match, and there was no one better to do it than Chyna. The Ninth Wonder of the World entered the match at number 30 and soon performed an impressive feat by eliminating the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry. However, just after 35 seconds in the Rumble, she was eliminated by the eventual winner Stone Cold Steve Austin.
