James Harden is the front runner to defend the MVP award he won last season. This year, Harden averages 36.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 6.7 assists and has helped turn the Houston Rockets' season around. They went from near the bottom of the Western Conference to the 5th spot with a record of 33-24.

Harden is on an incredible streak this season. He is currently on a 31 match 30-point streak. It is the second longest streak in NBA history and he is tied with the legendary Wilt Chamberlain for the record.

Harden's streak is impressive and could keep going on even longer. It can continue in the All-Star game. Will Harden score 50 in an All-Star game? Probably not. But, he'll likely have a noteworthy game.

There are so many other players who could have good games including the team captains (Antetokounmpo and James), Steph Curry, and Anthony Davis just to name a few.
