#3 Marc Gasol

Although his brother Pau was the third overall pick in the NBA Draft in 2001, Marc Gasol slipped into the second round in the 2007 NBA Draft.

That, however, didn't stop him from having a decorated NBA career replete with three All-Star appearances, two All-NBA selections, one All-Defensive team selection, a Defensive Player of the Year award and an NBA title.

Having played for the grit-and-grind Memphis Grizzlies and a strong Toronto Raptors team, Gasol is the poster boy of a modern big in the NBA, one who shoots 3-pointers with seamless ease.

#4 Danny Green

A second-round pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, Danny Green finally found a role as a 3-and-D wing at San Antonio Spurs after plying his trade in the D-League at the beginning of his career.

The rest, as they say, is history, as Green went on to win three NBA titles with as many different franchises while picking up an All-Defensive Team honor along the way as well.

Green became a perfect role model for the aspiring 3-and-D players, as he modeled his game around 3-point shooting and taut perimeter defense. He has been one of the most sought-after role players in the league in the last few years, as he helped the Raptors and the Lakers win the NBA championship.

#5 Nikola Jokic

The legacy of Nikola Jokic, arguably the most talented player in this list, may have just started, but he has already shown that he should've been picked much higher in the 2014 NBA Draft.

Despite being picked as the 41st selection in that edition of the NBA Draft, Jokic is one of the most-skilled bigs and passers the league has ever seen and has tallied two All-Star and as many All-NBA honors in just five seasons in the competition.

Nikola Jokic was incredible last season, as he took the Denver Nuggets to the Western Conference Finals after upsetting the LA Clippers and the Utah Jazz along the way.
