With December quickly approaching, the 2019-20 season is heading towards one of the busiest and most hectic parts of the campaign, and injuries are increasingly impacting teams around the league.

While the likes of Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson remain out with long-term injuries, a number of players have been injured during the first month of the season, and more knocks will be picked up due to an increasingly busy schedule.

So, as we enter Week 6 of the 2019-20 NBA season, here is all the latest injury news you need to know.


#1 Kyle Lowry - Thumb - Could return December 1st

Kyle Lowry hasn't played for the Toronto Raptors since fracturing his left thumb against the New Orleans Pelicans back on Nov. 8. The Raptors didn't initially announce a return date for the 33-year-old, although Lowry's injury is believed to be healing well, and the point guard is currently on track to return on Dec 1.


#2 Nikola Vucevic - Ankle - Out for a month

Nikola Vucevic and the Orlando Magic had started to hit form over the past week following a slow start, but the 2019 All-Star suffered an ankle injury in the second half of Wednesday's defeat to the Toronto Raptors. Vucevic will be re-evaluated this week and Shams Charania of The Athletic is reporting that the 29-year-old will miss at least a month.


#3 Aaron Gordon - Ankle - No return date set

Vucevic wasn't the only Orlando Magic player that suffered an ankle injury against the Raptors, as Aaron Gordon was also forced to leave the game in the first half. The 24-year-old has struggled with a number of injuries during his NBA career, and The Athletic is reporting that the Magic are monitoring Gordon's ankle without setting a return date.

#4 Marvin Bagley III - Thumb - Will be re-evaluated on Nov. 30

Marvin Bagley III has been out of action since breaking his thumb on opening night. The Sacramento Kings initially ruled the 20-year-old out for four to six weeks, and while Bagley wasn't cleared to play last week, the Sacramento Bee is reporting that he will be reevaluated on Nov. 30.

The 19-year-old is now almost five weeks into rehab, and while the Pelicans refuse to set a return date, vice president David Griffin says Williamson is progressing well ahead of a potential return next month.


#6 Avery Bradley - Right Leg - Will be re-evaluated on Friday
