La La Anthony was once again a proud mother after her son Kiyan Anthony dropped 28 points for Team Melo in the Nike EYBL. In attendance were Kiyan’s father, New York Knicks legend Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James.
La La took to Instagram to send a shoutout to her son for a massive performance. She reposted a post by Slam that said:
“Melo and Bron watched as Kiyan dropped 28.”
Reposting the post on her Instagram handle and sending a shoutout to her son’s performance, La La Anthony wrote:

LeBron James' son, Bryce James, is also one of the players in the EYBL. In Season 4 of the EYBL, Bryce wants to cement his place as a prospect, while his brother Bronny James has already declared for the draft.

Kiyan Anthony has been balling out in the last few days, dropping multiple 20-point games. On May 18th, Kiyan dropped 28 points against the Pro Skills Elite. He had also dropped 25 points against the PSA Cardinals just a day ago. He had a 25-point game against the New York Rens.
As for Team Melo, the team is ranked 4th in Division B.
Kiyan Anthony is a four-star recruit for the 2025 class and plays as a shooting guard. He has attracted interest from numerous schools due to his recent rise in the ranks.
It would be interesting to see the progression of Melo's son. Kiyan currently plays for Team Melo in AAU and attends Long Island Lutheran High School.

In a fun Q&A segment of Complex Sports, the mother, La La Anthony, asked Kiyan about his basketball GOAT list. Kiyan named Paul George as his GOAT.
The answer left La La Anthony in disbelief, given that her son did not choose his father as the GOAT. Although Kiyan tried to make a comeback, placing Kobe Bryant and his father Malo as second and third, in shock, the actress threw the Q&A cards at her son.
“Are you serious? I am leaving. When are you gonna say your dad’s name?”
“The fact that you didn’t say your dad first is crazy to me,” La La Anthony added.
