"His new wife is the bomb" - John Salley praises Michael Jordan's wife Yvette Prieto for making him do normal stuff

Michael Jordan's former teammate John Salley has nothing but praise for Yvette Prieto. Salley explained how Prieto helped Jordan become more normal by making him do normal stuff.

In a recent appearance on the "Club Shay Shay" podcast with Shannon Sharpe, Salley discussed his relationship with "His Airness." The four-time champ revealed how Prieto had a positive effect on the Chicago Bulls legend.

"His new wife is the bomb, too," Salley said. "Her making him do normal things is dope. It's good for him. It's kind of crazy."

Shannon Sharpe pointed out how Michael Jordan was a recluse during his NBA career. Jordan has been seen in public more often since she married Yvette Prieto in 2013. The couple have two children together, twin girls named Victoria and Ysabel, born on Feb. 9, 2014.

Yvette Prieto was born in Cuba, but was raised in Miami, Florida. Prieto loved sailing growing up, but studied business management in college. She worked for her father and their business after graduating before becoming a model.

Prieto also has a history of working with Alexander Wang, a well-known fashion designer. She also worked at a hospital and in real estate. She had a role in the documentary, "Cuba: An Island Apart."

Before getting serious with Michael Jordan, Prieto dated Enrique Iglesias for a brief period, as per People Magazine. Iglesias described Prieto as a "fantastic girl" and a "very good person."

Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto met at a Miami nightclub in 2008. They started dating after that and moved in together the next year. Jordan proposed to Prieto in 2011 during their Christmas vacation.

MJ and Prieto were married at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida, on April 27, 2013. Only 500 guests were invited to the ceremony and reception. Some of the well-known people at the wedding included Tiger Woods, Spike Lee and Patrick Ewing.

The couple welcomed their twin daughters, Victoria and Ysabel, on Feb. 9, 2014. The twins are Jordan's fourth and fifth children. He had two sons, Jeffrey and Marcus, and a daughter, Jasmine, with his ex-wife, Juanita Vanoy. Jordan was married to Vanoy from 1989 to 2002.

According to People Magazine, Jordan and Prieto have a secret codename for each other whenever they are in public. MJ calls her Harmony, while she calls him Yahweh. The couple usually hire a private security team whenever they go out in public together.

Jordan opened up about his relationship with Prieto in an interview with ESPN back in 2013. The six-time NBA champ revealed how she changed him.

"It's amazing what women can talk you into doing," Jordan said. "Make you change. Ten years ago, we'd have been arguing all f***ing day. I would've won. This time, this stage where I am, you win. That's progress."
