How did Bam Adebayo perform in the 2024-25 season?
Bam Adebayo has become an irreplaceable part of the Miami Heat team in the last few years. The NBA forward was a big part of the Heat's success when they reached the 2022-23 NBA Finals. However, since then, Miami has struggled to reach past the first round.
This 2024-25 season was arguably the worst season Bam Adebayo has personally played in the last five years. For five straight seasons, Adebayo made the NBA All-Defensive team.
Amid the Jimmy Butler saga, Adebayo struggled to make an impact in top defensive categories this season. He recorded his lowest blocks per game since his rookie year and missed the All-Star selection after two consecutive appearances.
On the offensive end, Adebayo's struggles were similar. He averaged the lowest points in the last five seasons and for the first time shot below 50.0% in field goals. Adebayo averaged 18.1 ppg, 9.6 RPG, 4.3 apg, 1.3 spg and 0.7 bpg.
