NBA fans trolled San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama after a video of him went viral. The video showed Wemby practicing martial arts with young children at the Shaolin Temple in China.

The Spurs big man stood in the back with his shaved head, practicing on his sidekick. Clearly, the NBA star wasn't as flexible as the other kids, with his height becoming a big hurdle for his balance.

NBA fans didn't waste any time to roast the Spurs star. A fan hilariously wrote that Wembanyama was about to return as a karate kid.

According to the New York Post, Victor Wembanyama has taken a 10-day retreat at the 1500-year-old Chinese temple. Spurs reporter Dusty Garza said that the NBA young star has taken the "journey of inner discipline, focus and mind-body harmony."

Wembanyama had to exit the season right after the All-Star Break after being diagnosed with a season-ending (deep vein thrombosis) blood clot in his right shoulder.

When Victor Wembanyama was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis, there was a fear among fans that the Spurs star's career might be shortened. In 2016, Hall of Fame player, and two-time NBA champion Chris Bosh had his career shortened by a similar condition.

However, fans have good news about the Spurs star. According to Reuters, Wembanayama will make his return next season and might step on the court when the Spurs start their training camp.

Before exiting this season, Victor Wembanyama played 46 games and averaged 24.3 ppg, 11.0 rpg, 3.7 apg, 1.1 spg and 3.8 bpg. Before the injury, he was the leading candidate for the Defensive Player of the Year.
