"Little f**king Henry" - Charles Barkley thinks it's a cute and endearing nickname to his grandson

Charles Barkley has a nickname for his grandson Henry, but it might be inappropriate. Barkley calls him "Little f***ing Henry," which he thinks is a cute and endearing nickname.

On a recent episode of the "Steam Room" podcast, Barkley gave a shoutout to his grandson.

"Shoutout to little Henry," Barkley said. "Henry, grandpop, big pop loves you."

Co-host Ernie Johnson then jokingly asked the Hall of Famer if his grandson actually listens to the podcast. Barkley explained that his daughter Christiana is not a fan of the nickname and might have stopped tuning in on the "Steam Room."

"Since I called him little f***ing Henry that one time, I think the podcast is off limits to my daughter," Barkley said. "I said, 'It's a cute little nickname.' ... It's a term of endearment. I love the little man. I like calling him that."

Charles Barkley loves being a grandfather

Charles Barkley became a grandfather earlier this year when her daughter Christiana gave birth to Henry. Barkley gushed about his grandson this past summer in an interview at the 2022 American Century Championships.

"It's the greatest thing that ever happened to me in my life," Barkley said. "I'm so proud of my daughter and her husband Ilya. It's crazy, it's the best that ever happened to me. It's unbelievable.

"I spent the night with him the other night and I just held him the whole time. He was sleeping, it was really cool. ... Being a grandpa is the greatest thing ever. It's pretty cool."

Who are Christiana Barkley and Ilya Hoffman?

Charles Barkley and his wife Maureen Blumhardt have been married since 1989. They only had one child, a daughter, Christiana, who was named after the Christiana Mall in Delaware.

On the other hand, Ilya Hoffman is Christiana's husband and Charles' son-in-law. Hoffman and Christiana started dating in 2016 and were married last year. They also had their first child, Henry, earlier this year.

According to the New York Times, Christiana and her husband first met in 2016 at a bar in Manhattan. Ilya had no idea that Charles was a great basketball player, but knew him from the movie "Space Jam."

"I said, 'Oh, you mean the guy from 'Space Jam?'" Ilya said. "That's where I knew him from. Some people might have been like, 'Oh my god, Charles Barkley.' To me it was like, 'Look at this amazing girl.'"

According to Barkley, Christiana and Ilya got married in a traditional Jewish ceremony. That meant Charles was carried in a chair for the Hora, a traditional dance.
