The Kansas City Chiefs emerged as champions at Super Bowl LVII. Several NBA players, who were either watching the event at home or live, sent in their reactions to the exciting game.

The Super Bowl is one of the most popular events in the sporting world. The latest edition saw the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles at the State Farm Stadium in Arizona.

With a brewing quarterback showdown between Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes and Eagles superstar Jalen Hurts, the matchup was bound to be a tense one.

However, after four intense quarters, the Chiefs made a huge comeback in the fourth to win it all against Philadelphia. Mahomes' inspiring display featured three touchdown passes, two of which came in the fourth quarter.

The event garnered a lot of attention. With two of the best teams in the NFL facing off against each other, the event was also graced by music sensation Rihanna, who performed at the halftime show.

Several NBA players also had their eyes set on the contest, and gave mixed reactions to the results. We take a look at the reactions of NBA players to Super Bowl LVII.

The general tone of reaction showed rousing support for Patrick Mahomes. While some players also grieved the Eagles' loss, they had to give Mahomes his flowers.

Having broken the MVP curse, Mahomes added some valuable silverware to his trophy cabinet. With indications of becoming one of the best to ever do it, the quarterback continues to rack up impressive achievements.


Celebrities in attendance for Super Bowl LVII

Super Bowl LVII saw a lot of traction from audiences across the world. However, as one of the biggest sporting events in the US, it was bound to see some celebrities in attendance as well.

In this regard, the State Farm Stadium in Arizona was graced by some familiar faces. American rapper and producer Jay-Z was spotted in Arizona in attendance for the Super Bowl LVII. Hollywood actor Paul Rudd and recording artist Adele were also among the crowd.

WNBA superstar Brittney Griner also attended the event. Griner, who has become a rather prominent figure following her detention in Russia, was seen at the game with her wife.

Prominent NBA figures were also seen at the event. NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal was also among those in attendance. He shared a hilarious video of himself at the event, which was promptly invaded by actor and comedian Kevin Hart.

LA Lakers superstar LeBron James was also seen at the event alongside his wife Savannah James. James, who claims not to be a fan of either team, received a warm welcome in Arizona when he was shown on the Jumbotron.

Given James' relationship with Arizona's NBA franchise, the Phoenix Suns, the crowd reaction is quite valid.

As the Super Bowl comes to a close, the NBA will ramp up their activities. With the All-Star weekend on the horizon, crowds can shift their focus to the NBA once again.
