Watch: 1st trailer out for movie ‘AIR' detailing Nike’s pursuit of Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan will once again grace the screens of fans as the first trailer for Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's new project is released. The story will be called "AIR," as a tribute to Jordan's iconic shoeline, Jordan Brand, and will be a biographical, comedy-drama picture.

The story will center around Nike's pursuit of MJ in 1984. Both Damon and Affleck will have major roles in the film as Nike founder Phil Knight and executive Sonny Vaccaro, respectively. It's been reported that the film will be released on April 5.

Along with the two moviestars, the cast is comprised of Jason Bateman, Chris Messina, Marlon Wayans, Chris Tucker and Viola Davis. According to sources, it will be the first film to be produced by Damon and Affleck's new company, Artists Equity. "AIR" will be released by Amazon Studios in theaters.
