Candace Parker has been married to Russian basketball star Anna Petrakova since 2019. Before that, Parker was married to former NBA player Shelden Williams from 2008 to 2016.

Parker and Williams has a daughter together named Lailaa Nicole Williams, born in 2009. She also has a son with Petrakova named Airr Larry Petrakov Parker, who was born two years after getting married.

Williams was a collegiate star for Duke University from 2002 to 2006. His No. 23 jersey was retired by the Blue Devils a year later. He was drafted fifth overall by the Atlanta Hawks, but his NBA career never panned out. He played for seven teams in six seasons.

Meanwhile, Shelden Williams and Candace Parker were collegiate stars for Duke and Tennessee, respectively. The couple got married on Nov. 13, 2008, and their daughter Lailaa Nicole Williams was born a year later following Parker's WNBA rookie season.

Williams and Parker even bought a 7,000-square-foot mansion in Encino, Los Angeles, for $3.56 million in 2013. However, Williams filed for divorce in November 2016 after living separately for three months. Black Sports Online reported that Parker had to pay $400,000 alimony to her ex-husband.

The couple shared custody of their daughter and agreed not to pay any spousal support. Williams retired in 2015 and was an assistant coach for the Erie BayHawks in the NBA G League from 2018 to 2020.
