The ultimate goal of an NBA athlete is to lift the championship trophy. Every player dreams of victory but not all NBA players are lucky enough to finally lift the Larry O'Brien trophy. Several dynasties have existed in the league, led by NBA legends such as Bill Russell who has won 11 rings, the most of any player. Active Players with the most NBA Titles
Numerous NBA players currently hold the status of multiple-time NBA champion. These players have either been role players on winning teams or have led the team to glory. The best example of the latter is LeBron James, who recently won the LA Lakers' 17th title and his 4th ring in 17 years. Let's take a look at the top 10 active NBA players with the most championship titles.
Pau Gasol, JR Smith, Rajon Rondo, and Damian Jones - 2 NBA Titles
Pau Gasol won two NBA titles in 2008-09 and 2009-10 with the LA Lakers, alongside Kobe Bryant.
JR Smith won two NBA titles in 2015-16 and 2019-20 with the Cleveland Cavaliers and LA Lakers respectively, alongside LeBron James.
Damian Jones won two NBA titles in 2016-17 and 2017-18 with the Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry.
Rajon Rondo won two NBA titles in 2007-08 and 2019-20 with the Boston Celtics and the LA Lakers. He is the only player to have won a title with both historic franchises. Interestingly, he was a part of both franchise's 17th title.
T-10: Kawhi Leonard - 2 NBA Titles
Kawhi Leonard won his first NBA title with the San Antonio Spurs in 2013-14 against the Miami Heat. The Spurs roster featured stars such as Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili. Leonard won Finals MVP in 2014 for his defensive efforts against the Miami Heat, especially LeBron James.
Kawhi Leonard's second title came with the Toronto Raptors in 2018-19 when they defeated the Golden State Warriors and crushed their hopes of a 3-peat. Kawhi Leonard won Finals MVP in that series as well.

T-10: Kevin Durant - 2 NBA Titles
Kevin Durant won back-to-back NBA titles with the Golden State Warriors in 2016-17 and 2017-18 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He won Finals MVP honors in both the series and joined the elite list of players to have won multiple Finals MVPs.
Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors went to three consecutive NBA Finals from 2016-17 to 2018-19. However, their chances of a 3-peat took a huge blow when he tore his Achilles in Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals.
9: JaVale McGee - 3 NBA Titles
JaVale McGee was part of the Golden State Warriors dynasty and won two rings with the team in 2016-17 and 2017-18.
McGee, along with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, won his third ring with the LA Lakers in 2019-20.
JaVale McGee was the starting center for both those teams and was recently traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
8: Patrick McCaw - 3 NBA Titles
Patrick McCaw has had the luxury of being on some of the best teams in the league ever since his career began. He won three straight NBA championships from 2016-17 to 2018-19, of which two with the Golden State Warriors and one was with the Toronto Raptors.
The 2019-20 NBA Finals was the first one in four years, in which the championship-winning team didn't have Patrick McCaw on their roster. He won a title each one of his first three years in the league.
7: Danny Green - 3 NBA Titles
Danny Green has won all three of his NBA titles with different teams. He won his first and second NBA title alongside Kawhi Leonard with the San Antonio Spurs in 2013-14 and the Toronto Raptors in 2018-19.
Danny Green is a reigning NBA champion and won his third ring with the LA Lakers in 2019-20, alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
6: Udonis Haslem - 3 NBA Titles
Udonis Haslem is a Miami Heat legend. A Miami native, he has spent his entire career with the team and has been a part of all three NBA titles won by the Heat in franchise history.
Udonis Haslem was present during Dwyane Wade's historic Finals run in 2005-06. He was later a part of the Miami Heat superteam with LeBron James and Chris Bosh in 2011-12 and 2012-13.
5: Andre Iguodala - 3 NBA Titles
Andre Iguodala is the only NBA player to win the Finals MVP after playing the entire regular season off the bench. His addition to the team's lineup in the 2015 NBA Finals tipped the series in the Golden State Warriors' favor and led them to their first NBA title in 40 years.
Andre Iguodala won two more rings with the Warriors. He has been to six straight NBA Finals, of which five were with the Warriors and one with the Miami Heat in the recently concluded 2019-20 season.

One of the main reasons behind the Golden State Warriors dynasty, Draymond Green is the anchor of the team and is also the Splash Brothers' pick-and-roll partner. He has been to five straight NBA Finals with the Warriors and won three rings in the process, in 2014-15, 2016-17, and 2017-18.
He is often acknowledged as the leader of the team and was a huge factor in each of the Finals runs. In fact, his removal from Game 5 of the 2016 NBA Finals is considered to be one of the major reasons for the Warriors' defeat.
3: Klay Thompson - 3 NBA Titles
Klay Thompson, along with his Splash Brother Stephen Curry, led the Golden State Warriors to five straight NBA Finals, winning three of them. His incredible shooting and defense were pivotal in the franchise's Finals runs.
Klay Thompson will retire as one of the greatest shooters in the league and many expect him to win another championship in his career.
2: Stephen Curry - 3 NBA Titles
Widely regarded as the greatest shooter of all time, Stephen Curry is the main player behind the Golden State Warriors dynasty. He won two league MVPs and led the franchise to five straight NBA Finals.
Stephen Curry continues to be one of the best players in the league and could go on to win more NBA Championships in his career.
1: LeBron James - 4 NBA Titles
At the top of this list, standing in a league of his own is LeBron James. He is the only active player with four NBA titles to his name. James has been the main player for each of his NBA titles and won Finals MVP all four times. He won his first two titles with the Miami Heat in 2011-12 and 2012-13. He returned home to win one with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2015-16, before winning the latest one with the LA Lakers in 2019-20.
Known as 'The King' and often brought up in GOAT debates, LeBron James has been to the NBA Finals a whopping 10 times in his career. He is widely regarded as the best player in the NBA currently.
