#4 Lonzo Ball (New Orleans Pelicans)

2019-20 NBA Season: 11.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 7.0 assists.

After arriving in the NBA with endless hype, it's fair to say that Lonzo Ball has failed to live up to his lofty expectations. However, with his move to the New Orleans Pelicans, many had hoped that he would finally have his breakout season, but that doesn't appear to have been the case.

While Ball has improved significantly since arriving in the NBA, he seemed to regress during the Orlando Bubble. Despite his below-par level of play at the moment, the player could yet manage to live up to the high expectations around him and blossom during the 2020-21 NBA season.

#3 Ben Simmons (Philadelphia 76ers)

2019-20 NBA Season: 16.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 8.0 assists.

Ben Simmons may be elite when it comes to inside scoring and court vision. But the fact of the matter is that he struggles to score from the outside and is often bogged down by inconsistency. He could even be one of the biggest reasons for the failure of 'The Process'.

The 24-year-old is currently hailed as one of the best NBA superstars, but due to his fallibilities and inconsistencies, that tag only makes him a highly overrated player in the league at the moment.

#2 Kyrie Irving (Brooklyn Nets)

2019-20 NBA Season: 27.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 6.4 assists.

Kyrie Irving is undoubtedly one of the best point guards in the NBA, but the perception that he could be the number one option in a team that wins the NBA Championship is plain untrue.

The 28-year-old is one of those players who could be the best option in a winning team, but his isolation style almost holds his team back rather than make it better. The biggest example of the same is the Boston Celtics.

Despite the player being one of the most overrated ones in the NBA, there is, however, a strong possibility of him winning the NBA Championship next season.

#1 Paul George (LA Clippers)

2019-20 NBA Season: 21.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists.

Paul George tops our list of the top 10 overrated players in the 2019-20 NBA season.

While George had an impressive regular season, he failed miserably to meet expectations during the playoffs this year. In fact, this has been the story of Paul George for several years now; he is one of the best players in the NBA during the regular season, but his performances tail off in the postseason.

Many have blamed the player's inability to step up during the playoffs as one of the primary reasons behind the LA Clippers not even making it to the Western Conference Finals this year.

His performances were unwarranted from a player touted to be one of the best small forwards in the NBA right now, which is why Paul George is our most overrated player in the 2019-20 NBA season.
