NBA Sneaker Rumors: Jordan Fly Next set to be Russell Westbrook's first signature shoe
Could this be the reigning MVP's first signature sneaker?
h a poor start to the season, fingers were all pointing towards the reigning MVP Russell Westbrook but, in the last few games, the Oklahoma City Thunder have picked up a good pace and everything is getting together finally.The three Towers of OKC - Westbrook, Paul Goerge, and Carmello Anthony - are finally contributing better, having defined their roles. The team has been on a run of late, winning six in a row at one point in December.
As we all know, recently Nike Confirmed news regarding a shoe lining for Giannis Antetekounmpo and Russel Westbrook. According to Mark Parker who is the CEO of NIKE, Russell Westbrook's signature shoes will be of the "Air Jordan" lining and he will carry the Jordan flagship ahead.
It is not official but, Jordan Fly Next is rumored to be the next signature shoe for Russell Westbrook. Fly Next new color scheme is bold orange and blue which is inspired by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Also, the shoe has got a "Why Not?" motto showcasing on its tongue which is Westbrook's motto and insoles have personalized crests printed.
The tentative date for the shoes is January 2018.So, we can expect these to be out soon.The facts clearly show us that Westbrook will take the Jordan lining ahead.Does he deserve it? The answer to this question is up to you to decide but, I can only say one thing, he has already started leaving the marks of Legacy.
It will be a great achievement for Westbrook and a delight for OKC fans.
