When Scottie Pippen's ex-wife Larsa Pippen lost her cool on being equated with Michael Jordan's son Marcus in the media: "We've been friends for a few years and that's really what it is"

Scottie Pippen's ex-wife Larsa Pippen has been in the news over the past few months. She's been spotted with Marcus Jordan, Michael Jordan's son numerous times, and the two of them seem to be very close.

Larsa and Marcus were spotted having dinner together at a Halloween party. However, the "Real Housewives of Miami" star recently said that Marcus is just her friend:

"We're friends. We've been friends for a few years and that's really what it is. We're friends.

"We just have so much fun together. I feel like we love going to the same places. We like the same kind of music. So it's always fun when we're together."

While some of the things Larsa and Marcus have done make it seem like they have something more, Pippen's ex-wife considers Marcus a friend. She finally set the record straight and put those rumors to rest.

Larsa Pippen considers Marcus Jordan her friend

Larsa was married to Scottie Pippen from 1997 to 2021. Although the divorce was finalized in 2021, the two separated a few years before. During this time, Larsa Pippen entered the dating scene once again.

The 48-year-old television personality has been involved with several high-profile athletes and celebrities, including Malik Beasley. She was first seen with Marcus Jordan a few months ago, and this is when the rumors of them dating started.

Scottie Pippen's ex-wife, who is still in contact with the former basketball star, added salt to Scottie's wound by seeing Marcus. As many NBA fans are aware, Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan haven't been on good terms lately.

While the two have won six championships together, they have fallen apart since the release of "The Last Dance." However, Larsa's recent comments may give him some peace of mind.

Larsa is struggling to replace Scottie Pippen

Larsa Pippen is well-known for dating high-profile celebrities. A few years ago, there were rumors of her dating Future, a popular rapper.

The TV star admitted that she's struggled to find someone who is as good as Scottie Pippen. Her ex-husband has it all, from looks to fame, and she also has four kids with him. However, finding a replacement has turned out to be an impossible task.

On a positive note, Larsa and Scottie are great at co-parenting their children. They have four children together, with the first one, Scottie Pippen Jr., being born in 2000.

Preston, their second child, was born in 2002, while the couple welcomed their third child, Justin, in 2005. Larsa and Scottie have a daughter as well. Her name is Sophia and she was born in 2008.
