
Jeff Brohm is a former professional quarterback and college football coach from the United States. He is the head coach of the University of Louisville's football team. From 1994 to 2000, he spent seven seasons as a professional football player in the National Football League (NFL), then in 2001, he played in the XFL. From 2014 to 2016, Brohm was the head football coach at Western Kentucky University; from 2017 to 2022, he was the head coach at Purdue University.
The Montreal Expos selected Brohm in the seventh round of the 1989 Major League Baseball Draft after he graduated from high school. He declined the opportunity from the Expos to play football for Louisville in college. But after playing collegiate football for a year, he changed his mind and chose to play baseball in the minor leagues over the summers.

Jeff Brohm Salary
When Brohm was recruited in December 2022, he was first offered a six-year contract with a basic salary of $5 million for 2023 and a $100,000 rise for each of the next six seasons. If Louisville wins 10 games throughout the next six seasons, Brohm will receive a one-year extension through December 31, 2030, with a base compensation of $7 million. Only two extensions are permitted under the contract.
Coach Jeff Brohm was given a one-year extension with a base salary of $6.5 million for the year 2029 after No. 18 Louisville defeated No. 21 Duke in October 2023 to record its seventh victory of the season. As long as he isn't fired for cause, that sum is 100% guaranteed. Brohm's contract states that if Louisville wins seven games at any time over the six years, he will be eligible for a one-year extension through December 31, 2029. The former Purdue coach achieved the feat in the first year.
