Kirby Smart is the head coach for the Georgia Bulldogs of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). He is going to be the coach for a tenth straight season when the 2025/26 season starts. Hailing from Bainbridge, Georgia, United States, he initially started his football playing career at Bainbridge High School. Following the end of his high school career, Kirby Smart represented the Georgia Bulldogs in college football from 1995 to 1998 and earned a First-Team All-SEC honor in his senior year.
After the end of Kirby Smart's college football career, he eventually started a career as a football coach, starting with Georgia in 1999 and coaching various colleges until he made his return to his alma mater as their football head coach in 2016.
