Nico Iamaleava is a college football player, playing for the Tennessee Volunteers as a quarterback as of December 2024. He was a student at Warren High School and Long Beach Polytechnic High School. The 2022 Polynesian Football Player of the Year rushed for six touchdowns and threw for 1,726 yards and 25 touchdowns during his senior career. He threw for 186 yards and a touchdown and was named MVP of the Polynesian Bowl in 2023. Moreover, he was also named as one of the top players in that year.

Madden is a four-star recruit ranked as the No. 105 player in the country for the 2025 recruiting class. Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 185 pounds, he is listed as the 11th-best quarterback and 12th-best player in California in 2024. ESPN places him at No. 83 among 2025 recruits and as the 7th-ranked prospect from California. In his first season as a starter for Warren High School, Madden passed for 3,626 yards, 43 touchdowns, and four interceptions, as per 247Sports.

Nico Iamaleava's sisters McKennah, Ellie, and Nicaylah Iamaleava are volleyball players. Nicaylah, the varsity volleyball player plays for Cypress College. She was one of the members of the Moore League Champions team and was voted most inspirational in 2024, as per Cypress College's official website.
