Gujarat Titans (GT) is a franchise cricket team competing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as of March 2025. The team is captained by Shubman Gill and coached by Ashish Nehra for the 2025 season. GT won their maiden IPL title in 2022 under Hardik Pandya's captaincy, marking a historic debut season. Hardik Pandya's all-round performance (3/17 & 34 runs) was key in their championship victory. Following Pandya's departure for MI in 2023, Gill was made the captain of the Titans, with Nehra continuing in his head coach role. According to a November 2024 report by the Gujarat Titans, Parthiv Patel joined the team as their Assistant Coach (Mentor) for IPL 2025. The former Indian wicketkeeper-batter brings extensive experience, having played 25 Tests, 38 ODIs, and 2 T20Is for India. He also featured in 139 IPL matches, playing for six franchises. During his IPL career, he excelled for the Chennai Super Kings in 2008 (302 runs) and finished as the top-scorer for the Mumbai Indians (395 runs) during their title-winning 2017 campaign as per the official website of GT.
