SRH 2022 Head Coach

Former Australian batter Tom Moody is the head SRH Coach 2022. Moody played eight Test matches and 79 ODIs for the Australian cricket team. He registered two centuries and 13 fifties in his international career.

Moody has returned as SRH coach after a break of 2 years. He was the head coach of the Hyderabad-based franchise from 2013 to 2019 before Trevor Bayliss replaced him. After SRH finished last in IPL 2021, they recalled Moody for the 2022 season.

SRH 2022 Batting Coach

Ahead of the new IPL season, the Sunrisers Hyderabad roped in former West Indies captain Brian Lara as a batting coach. Lara never played in the IPL before, but he achieved a lot of success in international cricket. The left-handed batter represented the West Indies in 131 Tests and 299 ODIs.

After retirement, Lara worked as a cricket expert and also played in exhibition cricket matches. Along with the role of the SRH coach 2022 for batting, Lara is also the franchise’s strategic advisor.

SRH 2022 Bowling Coach

Sunrisers Hyderabad have two very big names as their bowling coaches. Former South African bowler Dale Steyn is the SRH coach 2022 for fast-bowling, whereas former Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan is the SRH coach for spin-bowling.

Muralitharan was with the franchise last year as well, while Steyn joined as the fast-bowling coach ahead of IPL 2022. Steyn has previously played for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. With multiple legends present in the coaching staff, fans should expect a top-quality performance from the SRH team.

SRH 2022 Fielding Coach

Former Indian player Hemang Badani is the SRH coach 2022 for fielding. Badani played four Tests and 40 ODI matches for the Indian cricket team. He was once a member of the Chennai Super Kings squad in the IPL.

After retirement, Badani has had a very successful coaching career. He led the Jaffna-based franchise to two Lanka Premier League trophies in 2020 and 2021. Also, TNPL franchise Chepauk Super Gillies have been very successful with Badani as their head coach. It will be exciting to see how Badani’s first stint as an IPL coach works out.
