GTA 6 trailer 2 gave us a proper introduction to the game's second lead character, Jason Duval. He appeared in the first trailer as well, but wasn't named at the time; in fact, he was featured very briefly in it. Nevertheless, fans finally got to hear Jason's voice for the very first time in the second one as he descended from the roof of his house in the Leonida Keys.
Interestingly, Reddit user u/Fresh-War5908 has remade Jason's home in Ubisoft's 2018 release, Far Cry 5.
Their post had 18 thousand upvotes at the time of writing, and close to 300 comments, most of which appreciated the Redditor's detailed recreation. Praising the original poster's level of detailing, Reddit user u/mrtoastandbutter said they couldn't figure out which of them was the original.
"That’s actually crazy. I couldn’t figure out which one (pic 1) was GTA at first! Haha"
Another Grand Theft Auto fan, u/RocMerc, left a similar comment, stating that it took them a second to differentiate between the two images.
Reddit user u/StingingGamer appreciated the remade interior of Jason Duval's house in Far Cry 5, describing it as "more realistic in some ways".

Here are some more comments from fans over on Reddit, appreciating u/Fresh-War5908's recreation of Jason's house from GTA 6 in Far Cry 5:

Since Rockstar Games has delayed Grand Theft Auto 6 to May 2026, fans have been keeping themselves busy in various ways, and this remake is one of the most creative examples of that.
Jason's house from GTA 6 trailer 2 in Far Cry 5's Arcade mode

Far Cry 5 features an Arcade mode that allows players to design custom maps with the help of a plethora of tools and assets. Redditor u/Fresh-War5908 has creatively used them to build Jason's house from the GTA 6 trailer 2 in it.
Seeing the original structure and its fan-made Far Cry 5 Arcade iteration side-by-side shows the attention to detail put in by the creator. And it is not just the exterior that has been recreated, but also the interior.

There are slight differences, as one is limited to the options in Far Cry 5's Arcade mode, but it is still incredibly detailed and faithful. It is worth noting that some Grand Theft Auto fans have recreated both of the title's trailers in their entirety in different ways, too.
For example, a GTA 6 trailer 2 makeover in PS2 graphics recently surfaced online to a very positive reception as well.
