Minecraft Legends is an RTS spin-off of Minecraft, the survival sandbox game that allows players to express themselves in a blocky way. Minecraft Legends, which was announced at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022, is a real-time strategy game by Blackbird Interactive, the creators of Crossfire: Legion and Homeworld 3.
Gamers will "lead comrades in heroic fights to save the Overworld against the destructive piglins" in Minecraft Legends. It's "a new action strategy game," according to the official Minecraft website.
Minecraft Legends Release Date And Platforms
According to the official Minecraft website, the release date for Minecraft Legends is April 18th, 2023. Furthermore, despite the fact that Mojang was acquired by Microsoft, the team remains committed to releasing multiplatform titles. This trend is expected to continue with Minecraft Legends, which will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Pre-orders for Minecraft Legends are now available, and gamers can pre-order the game through the official site for their preferred platform. The game's Standard Edition is also available for pre-order in physical form.
The Standard Edition will set you back $40, while the Deluxe Edition will set you back $50. The latter edition includes six extra skins; one hero, four mounts, and one additional mount skin when it is available.
Minecraft Legends Multiplayer and Crossplay
Minecraft Legends will feature both cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes, as well as cross-platform play. Co-op mode will contain the game's main campaign, but PvP will be a separate option that will be available from launch and will be unrelated to the game's main story. Yet, there are certain similarities between modes, such as the fact that battle regions will be produced procedurally.
