Transitioning to the professional circuit in 2012, he amassed a record of eight wins and three losses, primarily competing for Legacy Fighting Alliance. Despite a setback in an interim LFA Flyweight Championship bout against Casey Kenney, which he lost by unanimous decision, Royval rebounded with a victory over UFC veteran Joby Sanchez at LFA 65 in May 2019, securing a win via first-round armbar.
