The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is bringing an exciting fight card in its upcoming event on March 30, 2024, full of exciting bouts across divisions. The event will be hosted at Broadwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA. The main event of the fight will feature UFC women professional mixed martial artists Erin Blanchfield and Manon Fiorot, Chris Weidman and Bruno Silva will fight in a middleweight showdown on the main card of the evening.

Chris Weidman is a well-known American professional mixed martial artist who is active in the middleweight division of the UFC and is a former middleweight champion of the promotion. Weidman made his professional debut as a mixed martial artist on February 20, 2009, at Ring of Combat 23 against Reubem Lopes. He made quick work of Lopes and finished him in the first round by submission to start his career.

After compiling a perfect record of 5 wins and 0 losses, Chris Weidman made his debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He faced Alessio Sakara on March 3, 2011, at UFC Live: Sanchez vs. Kampmann in his first match at the promotion. Weidman outclassed Alessio and won the fight by unanimous decision.

Chris Weidman also competed in the light heavyweight division in the UFC. His career took a sudden plummet in recent times when he lost his middleweight title to Luke Rockhold at UFC 194, suffered a grievous leg injury against Uriah Hall at UFC 261, and is on a two-fight losing streak.

His upcoming rival, Bruno Silva, on the other hand is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist with an experience of 33 professional fights. He made his professional debut on June 5, 2010, at Champion’s Night 14 against Junior Pitbull in a middleweight bout. Bruno Silva had a few initial stumblings, however, he recovered from them and established a record of 20 wins and 6 losses before making his debut in the UFC. Silva made his debut in the promotion on June 19, 2021, against Wellington Turman at UFC Fight Night: The Korean Zombie vs. Ige. Silva made quick work of Turman and dispatched him in the first round with a knockout to win the fight and and announce his arrival at the promotion with style.
