American boxer Errol Spence Jr. was born on March 3, 1990. He has held the titles of the World Boxing Council (WBC) since 2019, the International Boxing Federation (IBF) since 2017, and the World Boxing Association (WBA) (Super version) since 2022. He is currently the unified champion in the welterweight division.

Finally, on May 25, 2023, it was announced that Terence Crawford and Spence Jr. would face off on July 29, 2023, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the undisputed welterweight title.
