Gregory Rodrigues is a Brazilian MMA fighter competing in the middleweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Rodrigues started his professional mixed martial arts journey in 2014 and holds a record of 16 wins and 5 losses in the sport as of February 2025. The majority of his wins have come via knockout (10), submission (3), and decision (3). He is an eight-time National BJJ Champion and is a former Smash Global and LFA middleweight champion. The 32-year-old Brazilian fighter stepped into UFC at UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs. Sakai, where he faced Dusko Todorovic and won the three-rounder via a unanimous decision by the judges' scorecard in 2021.

In his last showdown, Rodrigues faced Christian Leroy Duncan at UFC 304 on July 28, 2024, in Manchester, England. He won the bout via a unanimous decision. Rodrigues, who is on a three-fight win streak, will face one of the veterans and top middleweights in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Jared Cannonier. The fight will take place at UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs. Rodrigues on February 15, 2025, at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, United States.

Gregory Rodrigues' forehead cut

Gregory Rodrigues suffered a brutal cut on his forehead, in between his eyes at UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs. Song, where the Brazilian squared off against Chidi Njokuani in September 2022. Rodrigues, while trying to get a takedown on Chidi Njokuani, got hit by the American's knee on his forehead. Despite suffering a devastating cut on his forehead, the Brazilian kept fighting and eventually finished Chidi Njokuani within 1 minute and 27 seconds into the second round of the bout via TKO.
