Joe Joyce was born on September 19, 1985 in London, England. Joyce graduated from Middlesex University with a BSc degree in Fine Arts. He made his professional debut in October 2017 at the age of 31 after signing with Hayemaker Ringstar. His bout was booked at the Indigo O2, London, against Ian Lewison, where he won by knocking Lewison out in the eighth round.
