Mateusz Gamrot, who is nicknamed 'Gamer' is a Polish MMA fighter who competes in the lightweight category of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). With a career spanning 11 years, he hails from Bielsko-Biala, Poland, where he was born on December 11, 1990. Currently, he calls Poznan, Poland, his home. Gamrot is ranked #6 in the UFC Lightweight standings.

Gamrot made his professional MMA debut on February 4, 2012, against Arbi Shamaev and won by TKO.

On September 17, 2020, it was officially announced that Mateusz Gamrot had signed with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Shortly after, Gamrot was slated to step in for Renato Moicano to take on Magomed Mustafaev at UFC Fight Night: Ortega vs. The Korean Zombie, scheduled for October 18, 2020. However, Mustafaev withdrew from the bout in early October for undisclosed reasons. As a result, Gamrot faced Guram Kutateladze, another newcomer to the promotion, as a replacement opponent. Gamrot narrowly lost the closely contested fight via a split decision. Both Gamrot and Kutateladze were awarded the Fight of the Night bonus for their performance.
