Michel Pereira is a professional mixed martial artist who competes in the middleweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He started training for combat sports as a child and learned karate and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Pereira made his professional mixed martial arts debut on December 22, 2011, against Edson Dias at the Dragon Fight Championship where Pereira finished him in the first round to launch his professional career with a win.

After his successful maiden victory in his debut, Michel Pereira fought in various fight promotions before making his way into the UFC. He made his promotional debut in the promotion on May 18, 2019, against Danny Roberts at UFC Fight Night: dos Anjos vs. Lee in a welterweight showdown. Pereira won the fight by executing a combination of a flying knee and punches and knocking him out in the first round.
