Reinier "The Dutch Knight" de Ridder was born on September 7, 1990, in Tilburg, Netherlands, and is a professional MMA fighter with elite skills in grappling and an extremely versatile fighting style over different weight classes. Standing 6 feet 4 inches tall, mainly competing at middleweight, he has black belts in both judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, showing his mastery in the grappling realm. De Ridder, a pro since 2013, took off to the very pinnacle quickly by winning via a series of stoppages and picked up the HIT Middleweight Championship along the way. Turning pro, De Ridder would sign with ONE Championship in 2019, continuing to make waves as he won over fan favorites Fan Rong and Leandro Ataides.

A pivotal point in de Ridder's career came on October 30, 2020, when he faced off against Aung La Nsang for the ONE Middleweight World Championship at ONE: Inside the Matrix. De Ridder earned a first-round submission victory to capture the middleweight crown.
