Rolando Romero is an American professional boxer who fights in both lightweight and light welterweight categories. The 29-year-old is five feet, eight inches tall and fights with a traditional orthodox stance. Romero held the interim lightweight category from 2020 to 2021 and was also the former super lightweight champion.

Nicknamed the ‘Rolly,’ Romero sustained only two defeats in his professional career as of April 2025. His father, Rolando Romero Sr., won three amateur boxing championships in Cuba. Romero is scheduled to return on May 2, 2025, and share the ring with Ryan Garcia.

The pair were originally expected to fight on December 5, 202,1, but Romero pulled out of the bout due to sexual assault allegations made against him.
