Valentino Shevchenko is the reigning UFC women's flyweight champion as of May 9, 2025. Starting her professional MMA career in 2003, the 37-year-old fighter has a record of 24 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw (24-4-1). Since making her UFC debut, ‘Bullet’ has only lost to Amanda Nunes(twice) and Alexa Grasso so far in the organization.

Shevchenko first made her name known in the flyweight division of the UFC on December 19, 2015. She won the vacant UFC Flyweight Championship in 2018 over Joanna Jędrzejczyk and then went on to successfully defend her title seven times, racking up victories over elite-level fighters such as Jessica Andrade, Katlyn Chookagian, and Lauren Murphy. In 2023, Shevchenko lost her title to Alexa Grasso via submission in UFC 285. However, their rematch at Noche UFC in September 2023 ended in a split draw, which meant that Grasso retained her title. The duo squared off once again at Noche UFC 306 on September 14, 2024. This time, Shevchenko outclassed Grasso via a unanimous decision to become a two-time UFC women's flyweight champion.
