Kai "Don't Blink" Kara-France is the fourth-ranked flyweight contender in the UFC and he hails from Auckland, New Zealand. He made his first walk to the UFC octagon on December 2, 2018. Standing at 5'4" with a reach of 69 inches, Kara-France is known for meticulous striking and knockout prowess as he has 11 of his victories coming by knockouts. The New Zealander has fought in a number of MMA promotions, like Cage Warriors and Rizin FF, before signing with the UFC. While he suffered some losses in his early career, he came back with some big wins and as of August 2024, holds a clinical record of 24 wins, 11 losses, and one no-contest.

Over the course of his UFC career, Kara-France has faced elite competitors and he is mostly known for his rivalry against the former flyweight champion, Brandon Moreno. The two locked horns at UFC 245 and UFC 277, with Kara-France losing on both occasions. Kara-France's last outing was a split decision defeat to Amir Albazi on June 3, 2023. As of August 2024, he is currently in preparation to square off against Steve Erceg at UFC 305 on August 18, 2024, in what will most likely be a title eliminator bout.
