Curtis Blaydes is a professional mixed martial artist from the United States of America who has a career that is a decade old. He currently fights in the heavyweight division of the leading professional mixed martial arts organization, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Blaydes made his debut as a professional in 2014 and fought in various fight promotions before joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Curtis Blaydes made his amateur mixed martial arts debut on September 19, 2012, and competed in five bouts. He won all of these fights and amassed an amateur record of five wins and zero losses before making his professional debut against Lorenzo Hood at XFO 51 on May 31, 2014. Blaydes dispatched Hood in the first round by a TKO to win the fight and start his professional career on a winning note.

After compiling a clinical professional record of five wins and no loss, Curtis Blaydes stepped his feet inside a UFC octagon for the first time on April 10, 2016, against Francis Ngannou at UFC Fight Night Rothwell vs. dos Santos. He was defeated by a second-round TKO in his promotional debut in the company by hands of Ngannou. However, Blaydes bounced back to winning ways and kept winning fights on the trot. As of July 2024, he is ranked as the No. 4 ranked heavyweight fighter in the UFC. Blaydes is set to lock horns with Tom Aspinall in the co-main event of UFC 304 on July 27, 2024.
