Deiveson Figueiredo is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist who was born on December 18, 1987, in Soure, Para, Brazil. One of the top bantamweight competitors in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Figueiredo is known to have produced an impressive resume as a reckoning fighter on the promotion’s roster. He ventured into professional mixed martial arts in 2012. In his inaugural professional showdown, Figueiredo squared off against Aluisio Ferreira on February 17, 2012, at Knockout Combat Icoaraci 3. He picked up a dominating victory by finishing Ferreira in the first round via first-round submission and started his professional journey with a win.

Deiveson Figueiredo amassed a dominant 12-fight winning streak before joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). On June 3, 2017, Figueiredo made his debut in the UFC against Marco Beltran at UFC 212. Figueiredo won the fight by fifth-round TKO (doctor’s stoppage). He went on to win the UFC flyweight title on July 19, 2020, at UFC Fight Night: Figueiredo vs. Benavidez, where he defeated Joseph Benavidez by first-round technical submission. In his last flyweight outing, he lost the flyweight title against Brandon Moreno at UFC 283 on January 21, 2023. Figueiredo currently competes in the bantamweight division of the promotion and is set to face Cory Sandhagen on May 3, 2025.
