The XFL just concluded its third week, and we have seen enough to know that the league is back and better. The league has gone viral several times, the gimmicks are at an all-time low and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is smiling more often.

However, this tiny issue has to do with the league's attendance. Since Week 1, the XFL has seen a marked drop as the initial hype has come down. Hence, let's look at the attendance sheet for Week 3 of the 2023 XFL season.

How many people attended XFL Week 3 games, and how promising are the numbers?

On Saturday, the Seattle Sea Dragons beat the Vegas Vipers 30-26 at the Cashman Stadium in front of 6,037.

On Sunday, however, there were better turnouts in all three games compared to the previous day.

In the afternoon game, the D.C. Defenders thumped the St. Louis Battlehawks at the Audi Field in front of 16,212. The Arlington Renegades somehow managed to beat the Orlando Guardians by a mere point at Choctaw Stadium in front of 12,006. In the final game, the Houston Roughnecks eased past the San Antonio Brahmas 22-13 at TDECU Stadium in front of 11,309 fans.

As such, the total attendance for Week 3 came in at a respectable 45,564, about 5,000 more than Week 2's attendance. These numbers are promising. The league's stakeholders hope that Week 3's attendance will mark a resurgence in numbers. There are still seven weeks of the regular season, so we will monitor closely.
