Aspiring tennis sensation Arthur Fils is a 20-year-old professional tennis player from France. He is ranked No. 14 (career-high) by the ATP as of May 2025. Born in Courcouronnes, Fils started playing at the age of five. During his junior year, he won the 2020 Orange Bowl, becoming the 10th player from France to win the tournament. He also lifted the French Open boys’ doubles title with Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard. With the win, he acquired the No. 3 junior ranking in July 2021. Arthur Fils Coaching Staff

Ivan Cinkus is Arthur Fils's new coach. The former Croatian professional tennis player joined Fils’ team in January 2025. He has coached Marin Cilic for six years and Ajla Tomljanović for one and a half years. Cinkus has also coached Miomir Kecmanović. Due to financial issues, he had to announce his retirement from professional tennis at the age of 24. He is ranked as high as 216 in doubles and 414 in singles.

During his interview with Tennis Major, Cinkus shared about Fils: “Arthur is very explosive and quick. “We’ve focused on finishing points better with his forehand and improving his feel at the net.”

Sébastien Grosjean previously coached Fils. They started training in October 2023, along with co-coach Sergi Bruguera.
