Appearance of Regieleki

Regieleki is shaped differently from the original three titans, its body being a small yellow ball held up by tiny, lightning-shaped legs. Sprouting from the sides of its body are two long appendages that taper into points and pulse with electric energy through long holes cut in them. And of course, Regieleki features a unique dot design on its face.

Behavior of Regieleki

Regieleki is made mainly of electricity and the additional, more solid dark parts of its body are actually synthetic. Regieleki absorbs electrons to stay alive but also paradoxically produces large amounts of electricity. It's said that Regieleki is capable of generating enough electricity to power all of Galar.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Regieleki is a pure electric type so its weaknesses and resistances are very few. It is resistant to flying, steel, and electric type moves and only takes half damage from them. It is one weakness is ground-type moves which deal double damage.

Shiny Regieleki

Shiny Regieleki is the rare, recolored form of Regieleki. Shiny Regieleki has very subtle changes to its design, starting with the dark, rubber-like rings on it. Shiny Regieleki has these rings changed from a dark black color to a lighter cream color. Shiny Regieleki also has its main color changed from a pale yellow to a fuller color, almost looking gold.

Screens Lead: Regieleki can naturally outspeed almost every Pokemon with very little investment into its speed stat, so that makes it perfect for setting-up right at the start of the game. Starting a match with both Reflect and Light Screen, which will effectively half all damage is done to your team, is a fantastic opener and Regieleki basically gets to do it for free.

Total Offense: Regieleki isn’t just a speedy Pokemon, it has a decent special attack and, when combined with its Transistor ability, its electric-type moves can really do damage. With the same type of attack bonus boosting by 50%, Transistor boosting by 50%, setting up electric terrain boosting by 50%, and finally adding a Life Orb to boost it by 50% once more, will make all its electric type moves deal 5x their damage! This can one-hit KO even the bulkiest special defenders.

How to Catch Regieleki in Pokemon Go

Regieleki is not in Pokemon Go yet, but it's safe to assume it will be handled like other legendary Pokemon. Regieleki will probably be found by defeating it in raid battles then having the opportunity to capture it. Though it may also be found by doing special research missions.

While Regidrago seems like the better choice, Regieleki has far better synergies with other Pokemon, better utility sets, and a higher potential for damage than Regidrago could ever have.

Q. When can I get Regieleki?

Regieleki can only be obtained after capturing the previous three legendary titans, Regice, Regirock, and Registeel.

Q. Can you get both Regieleki and Regidrago?

Regieleki can be chosen over Regidrago in the Split-Decision Ruins. Choosing one will lock you out from receiving the other though you can still have the other choice traded to you from another game.

Its strategies were quickly picked up and used by the competitive community and casuals quickly found it to be powerful even in general play.
