Karan has been covering baseball as a journalist at Sportskeeda since 2022. While pursuing his Master's in Sports Management at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2021, he worked with the VCU Rams baseball team as a trackman analyst.

A massive sports fan, Karan has a knack for analyzing stats and knowing how best to present them. Apart from being an avid fan of the LA Dodgers, he is also a huge Indian cricket team, LA Lakers and Liverpool FC. Karan considers the 2011 World Cup, Game 6 of the 2020 World Series, Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals and the 2005 UEFA Champions League final to be his favorite moments in sports.

Karan admires Mookie Betts because of his seemingly endless versatility and dominance in every aspect of the game.

Aside from work, Karan likes to read books, watch sitcoms and go running.
